Merle E. Williams 88, of Brownsburg, IN, passed away peacefully September 27, 2019 in the loving care of his family. Mr. Williams was born February 8, 1931 in Colfax, Indiana to Elmer and Lucy (Harvey) Williams. He was raised in Bloomingdale, IN and was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his memberships and love of family he was a notorious tinkerer and was even known to occasionally put something back together.

Together with his loving wife of over 64 years, he is survived by his children, Mark (Jenni) Williams and Kathleen (Lowell) Hoyer, and granddaughter, Jessica Sturgeon. He was preceded in death by his five older siblings.
